The starting point was my current obsession with soft noises. I’ve been trying out different ways of layering tones and textures, fascinated by whispers and dynamics that emerge organically.

I always enjoy the unexpected turns and spaces in between that mixing can create. “

There are very few artists who personify these things as much as Tasha, an incredible DJ and the founder of the label & one of the best club nights out there, Neighbourhood.

We are honoured that Tasha is our landmark 400th mix. This cut from her set on 20/06/2026 at Wuppertal's infamous, Open Ground where she is a resident showcases some of the house, bassline, UKG in her record collection and carries an energy that only a club recording can.

Enjoy, and here's to the next 100 mixes - thanks to all the artists for their amazing contributions to our series, and the listeners to their undying support,

Love, Mantissa crew xx

It starts with some of my favorite percussionists, takes a dubwise turn before a little 5:4 polyrhythm twist brings it to 170 territory, blending old-school jungle with modern technoid dnb productions. "We as a crew in Sounds Good like a really wide range of music that we couldn't actually decide what vibe to go for our mix. So, we thought let's try and do as many genres as possible to reflect each our different tastes, inspired by the master-mixes we used to listen to back in the day. We recorded at our crew Christmas party and went for a 5-way b2b."

After a few beatless numbers at the start, I firmly rooted myself at 95 BPM for the remainder of the set and moved up and down the gears, enjoying the flexibility that this kind of tempo gives, with some tunes feeling slow and others feeling fast. Even though the set is coming up to two years old, I still listen back and feel like it's a really strong reflection of my sound - enjoy x"

"In this mix I pulled out some deepy, bleepy, psychedelic tech funk favorites that go along with four unreleased tracks by me. It reflects the way I like to DJ, keeping it fun, pulling the energy up and down like a rollercoaster, getting delirious then coming back down anticipating the next climb. Emotionally with the curveballs, weird sounds, and samples there's no doubt it's a reaction to the ongoing craziness of the world as well."

“Tturnips is the harder twin brother of Sseagulls who both live inside Ben Mansfield’s imagination. These schizophrenic imaginations all hail from the deepest Norfolk, UK, which strangely enough, seems to be kicking off at the moment.
Cosmic Pint Glass, Kestrel Heights and Nightjar are all parties that are being curated by Ben and the Norwich crew. Just a few weeks back Nightjar kicked off. A last minute sub saw Radioactive Man stand in for a sick Terry Francis. One pillar head of the underground scene for another (Massive shout to RAM)! Ben and Ben HS went back2back providing the floor was suitably pumping ready the main man. The night couldn’t have gone better!
“Drinks were flowing, sound systems glowing, party time were def not slowing!”
Also don’t get me started of our festival, Kestrel Heights!! Look out for that late next year.

This mix is a 3 hour journey into the collection of Tturnips, expect some techy acid tinglers followed up with some italo inspired deepness and beyond!
Feel free to follow any of the forementioned personalities or organisations to keep informed of other East Anglian activities coming up ;)”
